EU and Schengen members:
Poland is a member of the European Union and a part of the Schengen Agreement, so the citizens of EU countries, and delegates within the Schengen Area do not require visas.

If you require a visa, we advise you to obtain from the Congress Secretariat an official Letter of Invitation and submit to your nearest Polish Consulate. Please note that the Letter of Invitation can be provided only to delegates who have registered and paid the participation fee.
We also advise you to check with the Polish consular services in your country list of documents required and the waiting period to obtain your visa.
In case of visa refusal, we will not hold responsibility if you are requested to cancel your participation to the congress.

What documents do I need in order to obtain a national visa?
National visas are issued by the Polish consul outside Poland, so you will be able to obtain full information about the visa procedure from the Polish consulate. Generally, an application for a national visa should be submitted on a special form. It is necessary to present a valid travel document which meets the following criteria:
- its validity expires no earlier than 3 months after the expiry date of the visa you are applying for;
- it contains at least two blank pages;
- it has been issued within the last 10 years.
In addition, when applying for a national visa you should present documents confirming:
- the purpose and conditions of your intended stay,
- having sufficient financial resources to cover your subsistence costs for the entire period of the intended stay in Poland and for the return journey to your country of origin or residence or for the transit to a third country which will grant the entry permit, or the possibility to obtain such resources in accordance with the law,
- possession of health insurance or travel medical insurance, credibility of your declaration of intention to leave the territory of Poland before the expiry of the visa,
- other circumstances stated in the application.
What documents do I need in order to obtain a Schengen visa?
Schengen visas are issued by a consul outside Poland, so you will obtain full information about the visa procedure at the Polish consulate. Generally, an application for a Schengen visa should be submitted on a special form. It is necessary to present a valid travel document that meets the following criteria:
- is still valid at least three months after the planned date of departure from the Schengen territory or, in the case of several visits, after the planned date of the last departure from the Schengen territory;
- it contains at least two blank pages;
- it has been issued within the last ten years.
In addition, when applying for a Schengen visa you should present:
- documents showing the purpose of your trip;
- documents concerning accommodation or proof that you have sufficient funds to cover your accommodation costs;
- documents proving that you have sufficient means to cover your subsistence costs for the duration of the intended stay and to cover the costs of return to your country of origin or residence;
- information allowing an assessment of whether you intend to leave the Schengen territory before the expiry of the visa applied for;
- travel medical insurance with a minimum amount of EUR 30 000.
